General instructions for all authors

All participants with an accepted oral or poster presentation must submit a one page abstract of their contribution till 28 February 2005 to the conference secretariat. An abstract book of all presentations will be provided to the participants in printed form at the beginning of the conference.

All Authors are invited to prepare a full paper of their oral or poster presentation for publication on the conference homepage. Alternatively, authors of oral presentations may directly submit their powerpoint presentation as email attachment to the conference secretariat and authors of a poster presentation may send a pdf-file of the poster as email attachment to the conference secretariat till 31 March 2005.

Authors who do not want to publish their presentation on the conference homepage and opt for publication of their contribution in a scientific journal are invited to submit a scientific full paper to the conference secretariat. Scientific full papers are evaluated by the Conference Programme Committee and selected papers may be jointly submitted for a special issue of a peer-reviewed journal with an Agricultural Research for Development focus. Scientific full papers are not published on the conference homepage. Alternatively, authors may submit their scientific full paper directly to a journal of their choice.
 

Abstract submission: Mandatory for all authors

All participants with an accepted oral or poster presentation must submit a one page abstract of their contribution to the conference secretariat till 28 February 2005. Please download the abstract template below, fill in the title and the abstract of your presentation without changing the template format and submit it as email attachment to the conference secretariat. Abstracts must not exceed one A4 page.

Full paper submission for publication on the conference homepage

All participants with an accepted oral or poster presentation are invited to submit a full paper for publication on the conference homepage. Full papers should be sent to the conference secretariat till 31 March 2005. Please download the full paper template below, prepare your full paper without changing the template format and submit it as email attachment to the conference secretariat. Full papers for publication on the conference homepage must not exceed 8 pages.

Submission of oral presentations as powerpoint-files for publication on the conference homepage

Authors of oral contributions to be published on the conference homepage may instead of a full paper submit their power-point presentations as email attachment to the conference secretariat till 31 March 2005.
 

Submission of posters as pdf-files for publication on the conference homepage

Authors of poster presentations to be published on the conference homepage may instead of a full paper submit a pdf-file of their poster in A4 format to the conference secretariat till 31 March 2005.
 

Scientific full paper submission for publication in a peer-reviewed journal

Autors of oral or poster presentations who opt for a publication in a scientific journal can submit a scientific full paper of their contribution till 31 March 2005 to the conference secretariat. Scientific full papers are evaluated by the Conference Programme Committee and selected papers may eventually be jointly submitted for a special issue of a peer-reviewed journal with an Agricultural Research for Development focus. Scientific full papers are not published on the conference homepage. Keep the formatting of the scientific full paper simple as you will later have to format it according to the guidelines of the selected journal.
